Tzu Chieh (Rosa) Wang
Rosa is an educator from Taiwan with over 13 years of experience in primary education, specialising in bilingual arts education, curriculum development and inclusive learning practices.
During her MSc in Creative Arts and Mental Health, she developed a particular interest in community-based creative health initiatives and how participatory arts can foster emotional expression, social connection and a sense of belonging. Her studies inspired her to explore how creative practices can support wellbeing beyond clinical settings and become part of everyday community life.
More recently, Rosa has participated in Eastside's City Work project, which focuses on community engagement and dialogue. She has also contributed to a project exploring people's experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic by sharing her own story as an interviewee. These experiences have strengthened her interest in community storytelling, shared experiences and the importance of creating spaces where different voices can be heard.
Looking ahead, Rosa hopes to develop inclusive, community-based creative wellbeing groups and workshops that combine artistic expression, reflection and meaningful conversation. Drawing on her background in education and creative health, she is particularly interested in bringing people together, encouraging authentic connections and making creative wellbeing practices more accessible to diverse communities.
